I’ve gotten a lot of questions in the last few days about cover letters, so here are my recommendations.
The important thing to remember here is that the letter should not just restate resume, but take them further. You want to pick a few key points to highlight because they make you uniquely qualified for the position. Try to keep customization regarding the specific employer in the first paragraph so that they are easy to spot & update as you are applying to various positions.
